GMC is a nationally recognised organisation that runs a teaching hospital and medical college with full Nepalese ownership. The college satisfies the strict standards of the professional council and affiliated university by occupying 204 ropanis of land.
The "Guidelines and Infrastructure Directions for Establishment and Operation of Private and Non-Government Health Institutions, 2070" published by the Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Nepal, are followed by the infrastructure of GMC.
